Song in my mind ~ Twelve Days of Christmas - Bob and Doug McKenzie

Hello all...  Well we are still here!  Imagine that...  In fact how I had a few different suitors... with the latest one still very much apart of my life... I would have thought for sure that it was the end of times was at hand... haha...

Well, lets see..  Gypsy went ok, meet a new friend that plays piano...  Her and I did what Grandma W and I used to do during Christmas, watch and give commentary on the craziness that was Christmas for Grandma and I and what was the show to a point.  haha..  She gave my name over to this other theatre organization that does some neat musicals from time to time.  Which means I might do 1776 again this summer...  and well for Nunsense Amen... there might be some video tape of me in a bikini...  as long as it self destructs after the show... why not for art... haha

Well Shawn came up for the show...  Which was a really quick, visit... however some of the BS he had to go through to come up here, means that he is very genuine...  Not sure what will happen, but as long as I don't over think stuff to much, and just live day to day.  We seem to do very well.  At one time he thought we would be "done" before we even met in person...  however... just like I stated last month in the Bare Naked Ladies song...  nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight....  so... we got through it.. and then he did all the crazy stuff he did just to visit for a little over 24 hours....  it was different.  Its been a while since someone, sacrificed for me... to this degree. 

I've been to NYC twice in the last two weeks.  One as a tourist, and I was thinking on seeing Bare...  however that week Shawn could not get to the city.. so I decided I would go see Chaplin before it closed.. which I'm glad I did.  It was a great show.   This last Saturday I had to go for work, and at first I was afraid that the city would be crazy... but then I guess everyone thought the world would have ended the day before... because being in the Christmas season and that town is usually nuts... it was really not busy at all.  No traffic and good bus parking. 

Shawn did make it over to the city.. so we had a good lunch.. and then we or I decided that it would be a great idea to walk on a very windy and cold day all the way of the highline, and then back up to 49th from 30 on twelve... thinking there was city bus service.. haha...  all well I got my exercise...

And the knees that the doctors say I have arthritis in now, or the heel spur that I thought I had... didn't hurt at all... so....  not to mention I was sick all week prior with a weird case of strep throat and swollen Uvula.

But it was nice spending some QT with Shawn....  He's planning on coming up in January before he goes back to College.

And well.. he knows about this blog..  so other then everything is true...  I might not be putting everything down on here...  I have to not give him all my secrets!!!  haha...

Well.. other then that...  I guess I'll get back to work!
