Song in my mind ~ Next To Lovin" - Shenandoah
Reason for the song, is because its fun... and well it seems that everything has been a battle...
Well I was reading where the last blog that Mr. Prince was MIA for a week. Well add another week on to that... and well I thought it was officially over... till I saw a Facebook post of his... and well... we are back to the way things were, with a few minor advances... But still... I wish plain and simple we were more affectionate... Oh well. We haven't done much other then go to Darien Lake for his Bday... and well it seems this year Abay I will have a guest. We shall see what new developments happen if any. I love his company... but I really want to feel I'm in a relationship.
I'm singing for a old friend's wedding next Saturday... the song was not my first choice, and well after responding to the RSVP I got the boot off of her facebook page.. so it got confusing... then she wanted to hear the song first... and well I never had that request ever... I'm going to try to get a recording but really this friendship has taken a weird turn.. but I guess years will do that to you.
Socially the whole gay rights thing has gotten really heated. From Chick Fill A donations to anti-gay and well everyone is so polarized it's getting scary... I saw this on Face book and its a little scary to say the truth.
What is the Religious Right new agenda?
With recent events such as the anti-gay comments by President Dan Cathy of Chik-fil-a, Masterpiece Cake Shop in Lakewood, Co. refusal to make a cake for a gay couple, the refusal to make an Atheist banner by a sign printing company in Fayetteville, NC for Rock Beyond Belief at Ft. Bragg because the message offended some employees (the sign company did rele...
Also last week I met in New York a very nice young guy, and well... yet another that isn't currently wanting to date... We talked alot and we share a lot of sad experiences... He as a counterpart of my Jamie.. who was killed way too soon... I'm glad we only talked, because even though I'm not sure if I'm in a actual relationship or not, I rather not get close to a cheating thing... And if I wanted to cheat I could have, because it wasn't with Joey (the nice one) I had a acceptable looking slut wanting to do me somewhere in the same hotel sponsored in part from the lovely folks at Grindr.. haha... Just think I was ignored for the last three years.... and kinda still am.. oh well...With recent events such as the anti-gay comments by President Dan Cathy of Chik-fil-a, Masterpiece Cake Shop in Lakewood, Co. refusal to make a cake for a gay couple, the refusal to make an Atheist banner by a sign printing company in Fayetteville, NC for Rock Beyond Belief at Ft. nt), the Catholic Church’s belief it can refuse certain health care benefits to its’ employees and just recently a Federal Judge ruled that a private company Hercules, headquartered in Denver and owned by four siblings can force their religious (Catholic) views upon their employees by not supplying certain (now) federally mandated health care benefits indicates the new agenda is clear.
The “Religious Right” is now taking their fight to corporate and privately owned businesses pushing them to speak out and force their religious beliefs upon their employees and customers.
They now feel they have the right to refuse business or employment based upon their religious beliefs (whatever they may be) upon you the customer or employee.
Will we soon see signs in the storefronts stating that certain people are not going to be served if they are gay, lesbian, fornicators, adulators, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, the wrong type of Christian, SINNERS, etc . . .?
This harkens back to a time not so long ago called Nazi Germany where signs were posted on windows “No Jews” and the people were made to wear the Star of David so others would know who they were so they could be refused business or services. In our country, only a little more than forty years ago was signs stating, “Whites Only” “Colored Only” “No Mixed Races” to signify who could be refused service.
Is this again, the direction our country is headed?

Just in case your were wondering... a little birdie has told me that "The Black Hole of Humanity" was dumped by the meth king he dumped the guy he left me for... which if you recall, I kinda felt bad for. But its interesting... BHOH will be turning 30 in a few months... that's when he meet me... Interesting, if he'll be alone... but hell... he'll probably find some other shit hole with a shit hole to fuck by then... But him all sad and finally getting what he spreads... is kinda nice... Karma... got to love her....
Best,
J
